hollywood hills abode

Hollywood, California: design & build

NTdU_NIk.jpeg

The original home was built in 1939 and was approximately 1,800sf. It sat on a ridge offering sweeping views of all of Los Angeles from East to West as well as South. The original home was not very functional for many reasons and did not take advantage of the views it had to offer.

The owner wanted the design to reflect their love for mid-century homes being inspired by their home in Palm Springs. We helped design and build this 6,400+sf post and beam home with amenities that would make anyone want to call this home. It offers 5-bedrooms, 7-bathrooms as well as an elevator, theatre room,4-car garage, 2,000sf basement and separate ADU and is privately gated. This challenging hillside lot made the building process worth while offering views that are some of the best in all of Los Angeles.

malibu dream

Malibu, California: build

Unfortunate circumstances of the Woolsey fires forced this owner to ultimately build their dream home. With sweeping views of the famed Pacific

Ocean facing towards Point Dume, this home takes advantage of nature at its finest. The design is modern in style and sits atop a hillside on over an acre of land. Clean lines and functionality make this home a special retreat.

The home itself is approximately 4,200 sf with a pool, elevator and separate ADU.

Los Feliz, California: exterior design & build

The project entailed two separate phases for the owner. The home sites upon the hills of the Los Feliz section of Los Angeles boasting fabulous view of Downtown LA and all the way to the ocean.

The original property was “tiered” over 7-sections with overgrown vegetation and a pool that needed help to say the least. The home itself was built in 1927 and was Spanish architecture. The owner loved the outdoors and wanted to marry

the exterior to the main home while adding a fresh new look to the property,

We essentially sectioned the rear of the property into two sections. The first was the site for a very large 360 degree infinity pool along with a yard that included a seating area hosting a fire pit, a putting green and a large outdoor pavilion. The pavilion included a bbq area as well as outdoor fireplace, heat lamps and a place to catchup on the latest sporting events.

The second phase of the project included a large 1,200sf ADU offering a private space away from the home and pool area. Finished with Arto Spanish tile throughout, the two bedroom, two bath was literally its own home. It had a kitchen, living room and laundry area.

The very high-end finishes make this beach estate one of the most envious homes in all of Orange County.

palos verdes evolution

Rancho Palos Verdes, California: design & remodel

IMG_3803_edited_edited_edited_edited.png

Major remodel and addition of this traditional home in Palos Verdes.

The owners outgrew the initial space with the addition of their kids. This homes layout was very closed off with rooms that were not utilized.

We seamlessly opened up the space to make the home more functional for their growing family. The kitchen boasts high-end finishes and view of the Pacific Ocean.

Manhattan Beach, California: design & remodel

Major remodel just a few steps away from the notorious Strand of Manhattan Beach.

This home was meticulously maintained by its current owner but they were not happy with the over style of architecture. We designed the home from a Mediterranean to a clean modern beach escape. A small addition allowed for more living space to extend to the exterior.

High end finishes and simple, yet comfortable furnishings make this home a true escape from life’s stresses.
